SUNSET WALK August 2018 • SHOPPING CENTER BUSINESS • 55 24,000-square-foot restaurant and sports bar will feature video arcade games, simulators, prize machines and more than 60 TVs. The family-friendly eatery is aiming to open by the end of the year, according to Falcone. Other restaurants signing on at Sun- set Walk include Rascal Flatts. Named after and endorsed by the country music band, Rascal Flatts will serve Southern-inspired food such as chick- en and waffles and include a full bar and a music venue. Rascal Flatts also plans to open a new restaurant at RCP Cos.' $350 million MidCity project in Huntsville, Alabama, next summer. Another musically themed tenant at Sunset Walk will be Rock & Brews, which is associated with Gene Sim- mons and Paul Stanley of KISS fame. The eatery will feature an atmosphere with rock music and related art, as well as a dog-friendly patio with fire pits, couches and outdoor games. The chain has numerous locations on the West Coast and in Texas, as well as restau- rants in Mexico and Hawaii. Other confirmed tenants at Sunset Walk include Skechers, Bahama Bucks, Avalon Day Spa, Café Rio, Cold Stone Creamery, Paradise Spirits and Wine and BurgerFi. Falcone also says that there will be some other concepts open- ing within Sunset Walk that have yet to be announced. "We will have some of Margarita- ville's other brandings that we'll put into the project," says Falcone. "The Margaritaville brand is a very strong brand." Anchored by the waterpark and Margaritaville hotel, entertainment will be the backbone to Sunset Walk's identity. Falcone expects families and other guests to enjoy the waterpark and then walk to one of Sunset Walk's restaurants, catch a movie or watch a game at GameTime. "What is working today is more ex- periential retail, it's fun and it's more than just going to a mall or a shopping center," says Falcone. The grand opening for Sunset Walk at Margaritaville Resort Orlando is November 3. Encore expects to open at more than 90 percent occupied. SCB Encore Capital Management is developing multiple uses at Sunset Walk at Margaritaville Resort Orlando, including apartments, a concert pavilion, vacation cottages, green space and a 12- acre waterpark.
