Tenant demand, as well as the strength of outlet retail in the region is driving that oppor- tunity. Phase Two is scheduled to break ground in late 2015 and open in early 2017. Christoph cites the project's unpar- alleled regional access and high visibility as ideal for an outlet component, and expects Steelpointe Harbor's outlets to appeal to a regional trade area similar in size to that of Bass Pro Shops. All told, more than 5.5 million people live within a 60-minute drive of Steelpointe Harbor, A large waterfront plaza at the midpoint of the Promenade is a gathering place where shoppers and diners can pause to take in the sights and sounds of Steelpointe Harbor's 200-slip full-service deep-water marina.
