The leases include a 10,400-square-foot lease at Montecito Crossing in Las Vegas, Nevada; a newly constructed 10,010-square-foot lease at Parkway Towne Crossing in Frisco, Texas; and a newly constructed 10,035-square-foot lease at Lake Worth Towne Crossing in Lake Worth, Texas. The leases bring RPAI's ULTA store count to 14. Major tenants at Montecito Crossing include HomeGoods, PetSmart and Pier 1 Imports. The center is shadow-anchored by Kohl's. Parkway Towne Crossing is located in Frisco, Texas, and is shadow-anchored by Super Target and national retailers including Best Buy and Michaels. RPAI is expanding the shopping center by an additional 21,000 square feet to accommodate demand. Lake Worth Towne Crossing is a power center shadow-anchored by Target, with major tenants that include PetSmart, Ross Dress for Less and Hobby Lobby. RPAI is expanding the center by 15,000 square feet to accommodate Ulta and Maurices. The Ulta Beauty at Montecito Crossing will open late summer 2015 while construction at Parkway Towne Crossing will be completed near the end of the year. n TYLER'S LEASES 17,274 SQUARE FEET FOR FIRST FORT WORTH LOCATION Tyler's will open a 17,274-square-foot store at Trademark Property Co.'s WestBend mixed-use development in Fort Worth, Texas's University District. Slated to open in early 2016, the regional retailer will bring athletic, lifestyle and collegiate ap- parel, footwear, eyewear and accessories to WestBend. It's the company's first location in Fort Worth and seventh statewide. Tyler's will join the line-up of WestBend tenants including Zoë's Kitchen, East Hampton Sandwich Co. and Silver Fox. In addition, The Fresh Market is scheduled to open this summer, and Grimaldi's Coal-Brick Oven Pizzeria will open this fall at the development. Upon completion in fall 2015, WestBend will include 280,000 square feet of retail, dining and office space. n THE FRESH MARKET LEASES NEW STORE IN CHARLOTTE The Fresh Market has signed a lease for a new location in the Dilworth Gardens Shopping Center in Charlotte, North Caro- lina. The specialty grocer's new store will be located at East Boulevard and Scott Avenue. Once opened, the new store will be the Greensboro, North Carolina-based company's 21st store in North Carolina and its sixth in the metro Charlotte area. The grocer currently operates 168 stores in 27 states. n NEW WHOLE FOODS MARKET TO OPEN IN HOUSTON A Whole Foods Market is set to open in Houston in April. The new store will replace a current market located at 6401 Woodway and will double the store footprint serving the immediate area. Arch-Con Construction was the general contractor for the site and for the new 46,532-square-foot Whole Foods shell built on the former Randalls site. The store will be the anchor tenant for developer Regency Centers' existing Woodway Collection retail center. The building also includes 4,000 square feet of small shop space attached to the Whole Foods tenanted by Langford Market and Lilly Rain. Store features include a high-roof entry with glass and aluminum shutters, stone and IPE wood siding and an outdoor beer garden and music area. It is Arch-Con's second Whole Foods Market. n NEW ILOVEKICKBOXING FITNESS FRANCHISE OPENING IN AUSTIN, TEXAS A new iLoveKickboxing franchise is set to open at 1700 S. Lamar Blvd. in Aus- tin, Texas. The franchise is expected to open in the coming months, however, a firm date has not been set. Bryan McMurrey of CBRE represented the landlord, Collier Properties LLC, in the transaction. Nick Boyd of CSA Realty represented iLoveKickboxing franchisee Alejandro Acuna. The iLoveKickboxing location aims to emulate the workouts of professional fighters, while making them accessible to the average person looking to engage in a healthier lifestyle. n WHOLE FOODS, STARBUCKS OPEN NEW LOCATIONS IN THE WOODLANDS A 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market and a Starbucks are now open in Hughes Landing, a 66-acre mixed-use devel- opment in The Woodlands, Texas. Hughes Landing, which is under construction, will feature office buildings, shopping, entertainment and dining at Restaurant Row, an all-suites Embassy Suites hotel and up to 800 multifamily residences at full build-out. The development overlooks the 200-acre Lake Woodlands. iLoveKickboxing will open at 1700 S. Lamar Blvd. in Austin.
